John Hartman aka (Jack) currently holds the Treasurer position at the VFW. Jack joined on August 14, 2017. His father graduated from the Naval Academy in 1924., he was the CO of two different DE's in the South Pacific during WWII. He was off shore from Iwo Jima doing anti-sub patrol when the flag was raised on Mt. Suribachi. After the war Jack became the CO of the Pasadena Naval Reserve Unit and retired with over 20yrs of service. "As I have no living relatives, the VFW and Auxiliary are my Family. I have enjoyed hosting many holiday celebrations and working with Manny serving breakfast." Jack has held the position of Secretary prior to taking on Treasurer and now Jack is also the District 7 Auxiliary Secretary as of 7/1/2022.
